Another bad news hit Savannah Region after residents were faced with a near death experience. However, seeing what is happening in the region will make one to be bitter as some residents are left homeless after a heavy downpour. It was really an unfortunate incident, after a 50minutes heavy downpour at Damongo in the West Gonja Municipality of the Savannah Region rendered shops, homes and schools flooded.
The residents were all left in a very sorrowful mood after they had no option then to be outside in today celebration. Different farmland were damaged and Dams in the region were filled with water, it was really an experience out of the residents control according to victims of sad incidence.
However, a particular resident of the community who was interviewed made it known that they need to take many quick action, because the worst is yet to come and if they don’t do so, things may get worst. A lot of shops, homes and schools were submerged and the situation for residents in that particular area were rendered homeless.
Meanwhile, one of the affected residents pleaded with the concerned authorities to come to their rescue and save them from the mishap. And the most exciting part of the whole happenings is that, there was no casualty and everyone is safe but left without shelter.
