
The Ministry of Education has released detailed statistics on candidates who took the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
From 2015 to 2020, the percentage of WASSCE candidates who obtained A1-C 6 was detailed in the comparative data analysis.
According to statistics, 2020 is the only year in the last six years in which more than half of the candidates received A1 – C6 in all core subject areas.
In comparison to 2016 and 2017, the percentage analysis of 2018 and 2019 in the English Language has decreased.
The trend of increasing performance in Mathematics from 2015 to 2020 has slowed in 2018, even though the percentage rate was higher than in 2015, 2016, and 2017.
