With a team of workers from Ariyan limited, Hon. Ransford Kwesi Nyarko toured the site from Ajumako through Kokoben to Breman Asikuma this after to inspect the extent of work and coverage of the construction. It was clear that the road would start from Ajumako to the traffic lights at Breman Asikuma.
Perusing the contract documents and engaging with both the engineer and contractor, it came up that the total stretch is a 20 kilometre Road that would connect two District Capitals ,Ajumako and Asikuma.
According to Ariyan limited, the project is scheduled to be completed in 18 months.
Currently, the contractor is widening the road to remove all stamps and debris, after which
Concrete works will begin, ie. drains construction .
Camp site is cleared to house all workers, casual and permanent.
Residents on and around that stretch have expressed their joy about the construction. They indicated that the Road had not been in shape for the past 23 years.
This among other roads under construction form is the share of the constituency of the year of roads.
